Bringing joy through Art at Globalart Sengkang
We had the opportunity to spread joy and impart Art skills to the children outside of Globalart Sengkang, in collaboration with RiverLife Community Services (RCS).
RCS is a non-profit organization located in the Northern Eastern part of Singapore. It is registered with the National Council of Social Services (NCSS) and is recognized as an institution of Public Character (IPC). RCS is also a Family Life Ambassador (FLA) of the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). RCS seeks to empower low-income families with young children to thrive and build stronger communities in Singapore.
We are honoured to be approached by RCS to conduct the holiday workshop to a group of 8 children.
During our 1st session of workshop:
We had interactive time learning about our beloved nation that we live in through sharing, drawing and colouring session. They learnt how to compose their very own art pieces together with the help of our teachers.
Later session of workshop:
We had a fun time diving into creation of their very own ocean with sea creatures by modelling gclay.
We end off the workshop with smiles and the children bringing back their very own masterpiece of artworks.
Though it was a 2.5hr session, we hope the children not only just bring back their art pieces, but also brought back some joy and skills learnt here where they may use in future.

Mask Distribution for Residents of St. Andrews Nursing Home

Hi everyone! Another heart warming news! Our Global Art Singapore HQ has generously contribute $500 for our Sewn mask campaign.
Our principal, Ms Teo has sewn and contributed 2,500 beautiful handmade masks to the Residents’ Committees, Association for Persons with Special Needs - APSN, Contribution.sg and few schools!
